Director
Hi I’m Ash, Director of Baker Tennis Academy, Head Coach at Witham Tennis Club. I am a qualified RPT National Professional, a fully licensed, fully qualified LTA Level 4 coach and a Licensed Referee.
My passion is tennis for all and fun whilst learning. This runs through every aspect of the Academy. I am a motivational, fun and enthusiastic coach who knows how to get the best out of my players. I make all my lessons enjoyable, technical, knowledgeable and always with a competitive edge.
I run a variety of coaching sessions for all ages and abilities, focussing on quick improvement to your game and long lasting skill and technique. I also run a restringing service and tennis retail shop. Any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Hayden
Coach
Hi. I’m Hayden, a coach at Baker Tennis Academy, and Head Coach at Little Clacton Tennis Club. I joined Baker Tennis Academy as an apprentice coach, and I am now a fully qualified LTA Level 3 coach.
I enjoy working with players, encouraging them, challenging them, and supporting their progress. I always try to make sessions fun and positive. I love to play and compete at tennis, and enjoy passing on my passion for the game to others.

My name is Kyle and I am a Level 4 sports coach and LTA qualified assistant coach. My passion is working in schools with a range of pupils, supporting their PE and tennis development. I love planning fun and active opportunities for pupils young and old and seeing their skills and technique improve. I am patient, motivating and full of fun to bring on player skills in lessons.
Ruth
Club Welfare Officer
Hello, I’m Ruth and I’m the club Welfare Officer. My children and I love playing tennis and have been part of the academy for some years now, learning and loving the wonderful game of tennis! The academy is such a wonderful environment for players to grow and develop. As a head teacher, I know first hand how important safeguarding is and take my job as welfare officer very seriously. If you ever have any concerns or questions, please do contact me, I’m here to listen and help.
